Parcelas agates found with purple coloring are considered rare and earned the name “Purple Passion”.

These incredible stones come from Chihuahua, Mexico– near Galeana, Cerro El Oregano, and Laguna Ranch. Yes, that Laguna Ranch! Where infamous and stunning, highly prized Laguna agates come from.

So no wonder Parcelas agates are often so beautiful. These slices started out as a raw stone, slabbed and sent to me. I worked them down into cabochons for setting into earrings in my little shop in the woods of the PNW.
