The Gambler 500: wild adventures, weird cars, weirder people, and the biggest trail cleanup in the world!
It’s not a race, rule number one is don’t be a dick, the rules are “fun>rules”, and you’re encouraged to spend as little money as possible. These factors have brought together the best group of people to create one of the coolest car-cultures and string of events to ever exist on planet earth.
The Gambler 500 Washington “chapter” put together the Isolation Violation Minibike 100 event in SE WA just after the Covid-19 quarantine craziness began to be lifted. A small group of Gamblers got together for some good-ol’ camping, but this time with a social distancing factor. The idea? A 100-mile endurance race on minibikes.
I’ll tell ya… I only did one lap. That trail was beyond brutal, and I wasn’t really there to race. I wanted to watch everyone else suffer, and as usual, take some photos.
